Troops are responsible for Safety-Wise ratios of adults to Girl Scouts. All attending adults must register and must be background checked members.   After you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email.  The confirmation email will contain the links for each girl and adult participant to fill out.

At least one participating adult must attend a mandatory virtual leader meeting before Piper Valley.  Two session options are scheduled for July 29 (Tues) and Aug 7 (Thurs) at 7 pm.

    Troops must meet safety-wise ratios. All attending adults must register for the camp and be registered Girl Scout volunteers.

  • Select this if your troop needs some help/mentoring on building fires, outdoor cooking, etc.

  • Select this if your troop has solid outdoor skills and would be able to mentor another troop who needs help.

  • We can get the job done (safely) but aren't able to mentor another troop.

Rank Your Session Choices

Any troop is welcome to sign up for any session.  However, the some sessions will meet particular badge level requirements:

Cadettes:  Archery 1 (Archery), Archery 2 (Archery), Cooking (New Cuisine), Girl Scout Ways, Eco-Trekker, First Aid, Night Owl, Outdoor Art, Shelter Building (Think Like an Engineer), and Woodworker.

Seniors: Canoeing (Paddling Badge), Cooking (Locavore), First Aid, Girl Scout Ways, Outdoor Art, Sky

Ambassador:  Cooking (Dinner Party), Girl Scout Ways, First Aid, Outdoor Art

These sessions are not badge related - just lots of fun: Fairy/Gnome Garden, Free Time, Personal Safety, Recycled Art, Recycle Bird Feeder, Sun Catchers or Wind Chimes

I understand that troops are responsible for safety-wise ratios.


I understand that at least one of my safety-wise adults must have taken basic outdoor training (covering outdoor cooking and sleeping) and basic first aid training prior to Piper Valley.

I also understand that at least one of the participating adults must attend a mandatory virtual leader meeting before Piper Valley. Two session options are scheduled for July 29 (Tues) and Aug 7 (Thurs) at 7 pm.
